Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***Adoption pending***
Lucy is an affectionate, beautiful and healthy young cat ready to find her forever home. She's currently located in a foster home in South Slope (zip 11232) and would love for you to come and meet her. Also check out her Instagram @alucygrowsinbrooklyn
Her foster person comments....
"Lucy is the biggest little sweetheart! At six months old, the quickest way to her heart is with a simple string. She’s timid at first, but once she finds out you have a toy and head scratches, she’ll be purring loudly and rubbing against you in no time. She’s the most well-behaved kitten - she loves belly rubs and knows that hands are not toys. She kneads so intensely on fuzzy blankets, but she is so gentle when she kneads on humans. At night, she loves to snuggle up next to you in bed and purr you to sleep."
Lucy began life on the streets on Bed Stuy, but was rescued at a young age by a local, golden hearted cat lover. She was lovingly cared for in their home alongside many other cats, and two small dogs. Since early January 19' she's been in her foster home where she has the humans and the apartment to herself and her amazing character is shining brightly!
Lucy is a cat who acts shy/nervous around unfamiliar things and noises at first, so we think she'd love a new family that respected her need for quiet , slow and gentle introductions, especially during the early days. Once everything feels safe and familiar she turns into a very confident, curious and cuddly kitty in no time! Her current foster can share tips on what worked well settling in Lucy to her place.
Lucy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
