My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Augustus is a 42 lb, 3 year old pit mix. He was with Gideon and also came from the fighting ring and spent 9 months at the shelter and became extremely urgent. He is a very friendly dog and very outgoing. He does sometimes play rough and needs to be told to tone down on the playing. He loves tennis balls. He can be shy initially with new people but warms up quickly. He loves playing with the tennis ball. He has had professional obedience training. He is obedience trained, house trained but still needs to be taken out consistently, he is crate trained and will bark when he really needs to go out. He is current on vaccinations, current on heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventatives, heartworm tested negative, and neutered. Augustus likes being outside and has a medium energy level. He is dog friendly but needs a home with no cats. Augustus is food motivated and he loves using his nose and has been started in scent detection/tracking for fun.
