My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good with kids: Older children or no children
Good with other dogs: Prefers to be the only dog.
Good with cats: Unknown
House trained: Almost there
Crate trained: Yes
Walks nicely on a leash: Working on it
Knows basic commands: Yes
Energy level: Moderate

Arrival story: Emmy was part of a neglect case, rescued and taken in by another organization, then transferred to Waggin’ Tails to complete the final step, finding an awesome forever home where she’ll be loved and cared for the rest of her life.

Approximate age/weight: 7months old 1-13-19 / 28 lbs.

Personality: Emmy loves to snuggle with her humans and snooze away in-between play sessions! She is honing her diving skills, jumping head first into the toy bin just to find the perfect toy. Emmy enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She needs time to get to know new canine friends and get used to new surroundings at her own pace. Emmy is treat-motivated, is currently taking class to learn the basics, and is catching on to potty training like a champ. Our girl is blossoming into a confident pup and becoming more curious of the big world. Emmy is great in the car and at the vets office. Emmy gets anxious with food in the presence of another dog, so a home without another dog is best. Plus, she'll get all of your snuggles to herself!

Forever home: Emmy is still just a pup and needs a person / family with patience to help her navigate the world around her and teach her all the good things a pup should know to become a great companion. She may have had a rough start but with the help of her new person/people she is ready to start the next, best chapter of her life.
