My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valerie is a sweet, shy poodle mix rescued from a high kill shelter in Southern California. Valerie is not a love'em and leave'em type. Once she warms up to you, you are her pal for life.

These pics don't really do her justice as her previous family neglected her terribly, dumping her off at the shelter matted and unkempt.We'll get some glamour shots as soon as Valerie gives up a high five to go ahead.

Valerie is only 9 pounds so she is ready to go shopping and fit in your oversized purse or satchel. She loves cuddling on her human's lap, with each pet she brrrings (AKA dog purring), soaking up the love to give it right back. Come meet Valerie and see if your heart doesn't burst with love at first sight.
