My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi....My name is Cam and I was saved from a Southern Texas shelter by this wonderful rescue...I am a REALLY good boy, who is about 6 years old, 85 lbs., wonderful on a leash, love to play fetch and tug of war, am great with other dogs and all people...But I almost lost my life...You see, no one was interested in saving me, because I have some problems with my vision...You wouldn't even know it, just to look at me, because I have learned to use my other senses and get around pretty darned well...I went to see a specialist and they said I have a genetic degeneration of my retinas, but I can still see a little bit and can even fetch a ball, because I can hear where it drops...My best friend is Tate and we play tug-of-war together...Tate is a great caretaker and helps guide me around and makes me feel safe...I would love it if someone would open their hearts to both me and Tate, but if you can't do that, I would be happy living with you if you have another gentle, dog friendly playmate for me and a fenced yard to keep me safe...I would also love to go on hikes and swimming...Please consider opening your heart and home to me...I won't disappoint you and promise to give you lots of smiles and love...If interested, here's the link to our adoption application...Thanks so much...Cam is currently being fostered in Texas...Completely vetted...Adoption donation: $485 for just Cam...$325 each for Cam and Tate
