Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**COURTESY POST...if you are interested in meeting Juniper or have any questions, please reach out directly to her foster mom at the email listed below**
Juniper is an 8 year old female mini aussie. She came into my care extremely feral, as she served as an amish puppy mill breeding dog her whole life. Because of this, Juniper likely spent her whole life living in a cage with little to no human contact. Any human contact she did have, probably wasn't a good experience for her. She has come a long ways in the 4 months she has been in my care, but still has a very long ways to go. Juniper will not allow you to approach her, but will eventually stay in a safe space if you approach extremely slow and cautious - especially if she gets used to you. She is extremely treat motivated, but only when she's relaxed in her environment. She will not take treats in new places or from strangers at first. She walks extremely well on the leash, until she gets spooked. A little reassurance from me typically calms her enough to walk again. She is mostly house trained and crate trained, but changes in her environment will cause accidents at first. She does fine with other dogs, especially dogs her size and smaller. She has been around cats and seems to be impartial to them. Due to her background, she must go to a home with no children under 15 and no young puppies. Juniper will not do well in a home with loud children, noises, etc. Juniper also must be adopted locally, absolutely no exceptions. She's been through enough. Despite her challenges, I promise you that Juniper is worth it. She's really come a long ways in the 4 months I've had her, but I feel it is time that she finds her furever home that can take it from here. Juniper is spayed and UTD on shots. She has also had a dental, where she had 15 teeth removed.
