Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Brodie! Brodie is an adorable shepherd mix. He is estimated to be under 2 years old but is truly a puppy at heart.
Brodie came to the MCACC East Shelter a few months ago with a scar on his nose, a limp and valley fever. He was very shy at the shelter. When volunteers took him out of his kennel for walks, he would belly crawl. Brodie was placed with a foster family to address his medical issues and to offer him some socialization skills to help build his confidence.
After only a couple of months, Brodie is a fearless and well adjusted pup looking for his forever family. Brodie is no longer limping. He takes his valley fever medication like a champ! He will be getting a titer test soon to see the status of his valley fever. Creative Contributions will cover the first year of Valley Fever meds post adoption .
Brodie loves his morning walks. He has some mild pulling on the leash but he's getting better. He has mastered the sit command and is working on the down and stay commands. He sleeps well in his kennel at night and is learning to like his kennel during the day.
Brodie loves playing with squeaker and rope toys when he's not giving kisses in exchange for attention from his humans. Brodie will literally melt when he has your undivided attention.
If you are interested in meeting Brodie, please contact his foster mom at Cathyadavid@gmail.com
Brodie seems to be good with all dogs. It's unknown if he does well with cats. Brodie would do great in a home where he has a playmate or where his humans can spend time with him, take him for walks, and play with him.
