Sad situation, Owned since she was 8 weeks old, Dakota needs a new home due to her owner having MS and no longer able to care for her in the way she needs. Dakoka is a very nice friendly girl, not hyper but you would never think she was a senior either. We feel the thing that gives her senior status away the most is that she is hard of hearing. She is fine with other dogs but has always been the only pet, no aggression in her at all but we have not seen her with a cat, her owner says she met one on a walk and was very curious,and excited but that was years ago. Dakota is spayed and is up to date on Rabies but we will have a full exam and blookwork senior screen done on her so the new owner will have as much info on Dakota as possible. Thanks to Camp Bow Wow in Bridgewater who heard of her situation and have sponsored her. Which helps the dog and an owner in need. Dakota has not had any health issues and appears happy and healthy. Kids are okay with Dakota. Are you looking to adopt a wonderful senior? are you a Husky owner or fan of the breed. A calm senior may be a perfect introduction to the breed. Dakota does ride in a car but she is not a fan, we would like her next home to be in New Jersey, preferably not too far from Somerset/Hunterdon County.
