My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Available for adoption is Santa Clara county and the Healdsburg Santa Rosa area. We do not ship dogs anywhere.

Lady is 9 year's old, weighs around 10 or 12 pounds, and needs daily brushing and walks.

Although we marked she is a good fit with kids, Lady would be a little shaken by rambunctious young kids. Older children are fine. Grandkids who know not to chase the cute little dog under the table are ok, too :)

Lady was adopted into a loving family with older teenagers some time ago. Life events made it necessary albeit difficult to return Lady to our group. As always, she is a lady. Gentle, peaceful, graceful, and still playful!

Lady is a senior now since she is approximately 9 year's old.

Lady is the mothering sort; she always took great care of kittens and puppies both in her foster home and her adoptive home. Although she is still curious about the very young, she does not attempt to mother them anymore.

She really enjoys her daily walks. Doesn't need to be a long walk, but it does need to be daily.

Lady loves to cuddle, adores her collar to be scratched, and her rump rubbed. She is kinda shy at first; this is normal right? She needs a patient, loving, kind, and drama free home.
