My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucus...i am the survivor..... and I am made of steel! I was brought as a young pup to the Texas rescue with a broken femur and a huge laceration from my knee to my hip. I underwent surgery at 8 weeks and I now have a plate in my leg. I am recovering wonderfully, i am even doing all the puppy things that I am supposed to do...run, jump. I will always have this plate but I should not have any lingering issues. I am tough....but absolutely lovable. I will be headed north to VT from Texas the first week in January in search of my forever home where I can settle in with my humans' help to become the best steely little companion ever!
