My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet Deacon- or as his foster mom calls him, Deacon Sweetness! He was found freezing, injured, and limping around the streets of south Phoenix. He quickly received care and is now a healthy, happy boy! Deacon is about 2 years old and weighs 28 pounds- he's a short, stocky powerhouse. Our best guess for his breed is Chihuahua / Pit Bull mix, or as we like to call him, a 'chitbull'. He is the sweetest, most lovable pint-sized power pup. His gigantic, crazy ears and even bigger overbite make it impossible to not fall in love with his little face. Deacon has such a big personality and is a total goofball that does GREAT with other dogs and children of all ages. He's looking for a forever home that will take him for walks, run and play with him in the yard, and enjoy snuggling with him on the couch!

Deacon is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is crate-trained, house-trained, dog door trained, and eager to learn more tricks. Deacon's adoption fee is $300. For the chance to adopt Deacon, please complete an application at happytailsaz.org.
