My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If Roo could run and cuddle at the same time she would. This quirky girl is a bundle of energy overflowing with love. She loves playing with toys and is convinced she’s a lap dog. Belly rubs are her life source and it cracks everybody up. There’s no shortage of smiles with Roo. She’s a total ham who knows her commands and loves to please. Any activity you like to do, she’s up for. All she wants is to be a part of the fun!

•Female Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix. 5 yrs old. Spayed.
•She LOVES to run, play with toys, dig in the dirt, and soak up the sun.
•She knows her commands and thinks carrots and apples are delicious.
•We have her on a diet now to help her lose some excess weight.
•She LOVES the water: pool, underwater treadmill, hoses, etc.
•She eats everything: dirt, bugs, leaves, and squeaky toys.
•She is housebroken, doesn’t bark, won’t escape, and isn’t unpredictable.
•She plays rough with kids due to her energy and size.
•She’s leash aggressive outside with a high prey drive (cats, squirrels, and some other dogs).
•Being the only pet in a home without children is probably ideal,
•It’s possible that she’d thrive in a home with the right dog(s) as she LOVES to play with some dogs.
•Needs a dog savvy person who can get her exercise and take her to a trainer
to work on the leash aggression.
