My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in COTTON or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application here
Please email the completed application to pat.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached.

Fluffy cuteness alert! COTTON is a smart, social Pyrenees boy who is sure to steal your heart. He is friends with big dogs, small dogs, and kitties too! He also lives in a foster home with 5 human children so kid friendly is an understatement! He picked up on potty training lightning fast and is also crate trained. He loves playtime followed by super long naps. COTTON is a snuggly boy who thinks he will be a lap dog forever. As of January 3rd, COTTON is 13 weeks old and ready to make one lucky family happy for a lifetime.
We do require COTTON go to a home with at least one other canine family member.

COTTON will be mircochipped and vaccinated as many times as age allows when he arrives to his forever home. His vaccines include 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 strains of canine influenza.
His $490 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and cost of transport to the Midwest after he is adopted.

Please email the completed application to pat.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you in advance for your patience.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
