Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey guys! My name is Buddy Boy, but you can call me Buddy, because I am EVERYONE'S Buddy! I am a 4.5 mo old Lab mix and I LOVE to play. I am still a puppy so I am working on being the best big boy I can be, that means potty training, and commands. I am still learning about not jumping and basic manners but my foster family says I am doing great! I can already sit and shake!! My foster mom says that I am super smart. I also LOVE to cuddle. It is probably my favorite thing. I love dogs (it takes me a bit to warm up to them) and I am curious about the things they call cats. I also LOVE water so I would love a home that would take me to the lake, or if you have a pool I can swim in you get major bonus points! I do like my exercise so foster mom says a fenced yard would be best. I am told I am going to be a "large" boy when I am full grown so apartment life probably isn't for me. If you are looking for your FOREVER Buddy, look no further! Fill out that application and let's start our journey!
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
