ATDR 2940

Meet Tobin…he was an owner surrender to a shelter because his people said they were moving. Sadly, being thin as a rail and looking neglected, it was apparent they hadn’t taken very good care of him and after being checked out by the kind shelter vet, he proved to be not only dehydrated but heartworm positive. When ATDR was contacted, we couldn’t say no to this wonderful boy in great need of TLC and good veterinary care.

Tobin has settled very nicely into his warm foster home with his own comfortable little bed and blankies and plenty of good vittles to eat. He’s so thankful for the kindness of his loving foster mom and rewarding her with nothing but an abundance of good-natured sweetness.

Tobin breezed through his heartworm treatments and is now ready for a forever home! Since heartworm treatment, he has had a couple of small seizures but he recovers quickly and is now on medication. Tobin has been transformed into the handsome guy we knew was underneath the sad exterior that greeted ATDR that first day. Tobin will make a wonderful best friend and companion to some lucky person or family.
