Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy is a 5 1/2 month old lab mix who was a typical stray in Alabama; unwanted, hungry and lonely. Despite her rough first 3 months of life, once rescued, Daisy immediately bounced back and lives each day to the fullest while waiting for her forever home. She has short fur that is all black except for a white stripe down her chest that resembles a #1 and a white spot on her neck. She has beautiful brown eyes and a happy personality. Daisy’s foster has already taught her to sit for treats and while she understands “stay” and “you wait”, she needs daily practice on those commands. She is great with cats and even shares food with them. She has zero aggression with food or other pets. She also loves other dogs and puppies. She is afraid of the guineas that were at the foster home she was in. She is 3/4 of the way house trained and needs frequent potty trips to learn the ropes.
Daisy will be completed vetted as of 1/3/19 and is ready for her forever home. She is definitely a puppy and loves toys, snacks and will jump up on you (foster mom working on that). She would be wonderful with kids or anyone for that matter. Please help us break the statistic that black dogs are the least adoptable. Daisy is great and doesn’t care about anything about her adopter except that she is loved. Potential adopters please understand she is not quite 6 months old yet and needs her family to continue her house training and embrace her bouncy personality. The cost to adopt Daisy is $200 plus transport fee which varies between $120 and $175.
