Penny is a spunky gal who would love a human to cuddle with or a doggie playmate to pal around with. She would do best in a home that's on the quieter side, as too many people in one place make her a bit nervous. She may take a little time to warm up to you, but once you've earned her trust, she's playful and fun!
You can apply to adopt her at www.greyfacerescue.org/adoption-application
- Age: 7
- Breed: Springer/dashshund/papillon mix (best guess!)
- Weight: 24 lbs
- Potty trained: Yes!
- Dog-friendly: She is playful with other dogs and enjoys their company. Penny sometimes tries to be the alpha, so may annoy other dogs who try to put her in her place.
- Cat-friendly: Penny would do best in a home with no cats.
- Kid-friendly: Penny isn’t a fan of sudden or loud movements so a home with older, considerate children would be ideal.
- Crate trained: Doesn’t really like the kennel and may whine and cry if you are near–she just wants to be with you! She does not mess in the crate, however, and has been left alone in the crate for at least 6 hours and has done well.
- Health concerns: Penny is a very healthy little girl!
- Favorite toy: Soft squeaky toys – they're all good!
- Favorite thing to do in the house: Sleep and play with toys.
Penny's adoption fee is $175 + tax. Discount available for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies, distemper and bordetella), HW test, blood panel, a microchip and spay/neuter if needed.
