Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luna is being Fostered in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Please contact Monica directly at enlightened34@aol.com for information or questions.
Please no inquiries from homes with cats!! Luna chases them!
Our Sweet girl has been moved to another foster home as her foster mom had to move and couldn't foster Luna any longer. Luna is now being fostered with 4 other dogs in the home. Little Luna, and I say little Luna, because she is literally 34 pounds and the tiniest pitty/bulldog you will ever meet. She is the most loving, adorable, gentle and friendly girl even after all she's been through. She is so young, just at 2 years old so this little girl does love walks, exercise and play. Luna was bred over and over again then dumped on the streets of Pasadena, TX where she was picked up by animal control. Luna lived in the shelter for 8 months without any interest until I saw her plea for help by the shelter. Seeing her face and the sadness made me move into action to rescue her. Luna has had a long journey from TX to NJ and has seen many medical professionals as she is heart worm positive. She has seen her specialist and her cardiologist at Red Bank Animal Hospital in NJ. Luna's heart and lungs and all vital organs are in excellent shape. She is being treated with a slow kill process that allows her to run, play, swim and do all the things she enjoys in life. Our Rescue will pay 100% of her medical and exams until she is heart worm free which should be 6-10 months. Luna is excellent with children of all ages, loves other dogs and is fine with cats. Also we require a fenced yard for Luna as she loves to run and play. If you are interested in fostering to adopt we will do that also. I can't explain how wonderful this little girl is. She is truly the most lovable and appreciative girl you will every meet. She is spayed now and up to day on all vaccines. She is also on flea/tick preventative and will be on heart guard twice a month as that is her heart worm treatment protocol. She is fully potty trained as well. Please, I ask that you give this girl a chance at a wonderful life as she has never had one before.
