My story

Sweet, loving, handsome boy seeks special home where I can be pampered and spoiled. You see, I was diagnosed with a heart condition last year and things weren't looking so good. I'm much better now and doing great on my heart medications, fish oil, and yummy high quality food. I enjoy lots of loving care with my foster family, but I would really love a family of my own. Are you that special someone that loves older, wiser gentleman needing some extra care?

I mostly ignore other dogs. I prefer easy-going, mellow dogs rather than rowdy dogs that jump on me. I did great with my intro to the office cat. I could share a home with cats as long as they are friendly and well mannered.

When you come to visit be sure and ask for me. I'm the silly boy with the big smile, happily greeting old and new friends that come to visit. I’d love to be your new best friend. I can't wait to meet you!

Benny is about 8 years old, neutered, crate trained and up to date on shots. His heart medication makes him very thirsty and he then needs to pee a lot. Easy access and a dog door to a fenced yard would be ideal for Benny. Also a home where his person is retired or works from home. He is currently staying with SevaDog Rescue. Canine Miracle Rescue and SevaDog Rescue are working together to help Benny find his perfect family.
