Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cheers friend,
My name is Oliver or Ollie as my foster mommy calls me. I lost my home when my family became homeless. They spoke Spanish so you can say that I'm bi-lingual boy that is super smart and ready to be your best buddy.
Since I'm a teenager, I am learning the world around me and get super excited to play with my canine brother and my mommy. My mom is teaching to be a good boy and to walk nicely on a leash. I am starting to learn commands but since I am herding dog and on a medium size dog, I would do best in a home with older kids, so that I don't accidentally hurt the kids, since I can play a rough.
I am such a happy dude, enjoy going on long walks and I'm super smart. I need an owner that can continue to work with me and help me to be the best dog ever. I am only a 1 year old so I have some puppy energy so can be lively and I love everyone I meet and want to be their friend.
I would do best in a home that knows my breed since I am herding dog. I am a playful, loving and super affectionate boy. I would love a home where I can run around in the backyard and be with an active outgoing family that enjoy lots of outdoor activities.
Because, I am herding breed, I may be too active for small children, and may nip at the heels of running children as if to herd them like sheep.
I love chew toys and fun puzzles and would be an awesome dog to do agility training since I'm smart and intelligent boy. I am quick witted and lively and have naturally floppy ears which makes me adorable.
I enjoy working and would do very well competing in most of the dog sports including agility and herding activities. With all that athletic ability and intelligence in one package, I would definitely do best with firm, patient trainer. I require a fair amount of exercise. Ideally a couple of walks daily and a good running, play, or training session as well.
I thrive on human companionship and having work to do, from obedience to agility to herding. I'm the dog that appears in most Disney films and I am
fun loving, intelligent boy. Loyal, trustworthy and all around devoted to my family.
Won't you be my friend and then we can do everything together. I'm waiting patiently to meet you.
Love and Kisses,
Oliver
