Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hunter and his buddy Daisy were rescued by a kind Samaritan who was helping clean up after the devastation caused by Hurricane Michael that hit Georgia. These poor dogs were found running around probably starving for days as they were all skin and bones. Their super friendly nature got them scraps from people that kept them alive. However one kind man decided to do more....he got them home to New Jersey to find them loving homes as he knew these dogs will make loving family pets. Our rescue was contacted to help Hunter and Daisy find loving homes.
Hunter is a sweet and submissive dog....and of course very handsome. He gives kisses and loves cuddling on the couch. He takes his cues from Daisy but would benefit from individual training. Hunter will be best in a home that has another well behaved and confident female dog as his companion. He is great around all people he meets but since he is unsure of himself a gradual introduction to new animals will be necessary.
Hunter and Daisy are very good pups and are always together like two peas in a pod. However they do not necessarily need to get adopted together. They listen well and don’t have any accidents at all in the house. Hunter is an are energetic young dog around 6 months old and weigh almost 50 pounds. They are happy playing in the backyard so a fenced in yard would be great. They need to learn some leash manners but since they are people pleasers and food motivated they will learn quickly.
Hunter is neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated and microchiped. Please email Rescuewithoutborders@gmail.com for an adoption application. Hunter and Daisy are being fostered in Monroe Twp, NJ.
