Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTION PENDING
Sir Rodney Stewart (AKA Stewart) is a precious chocolate and white parti-colored Cocker Spaniel boy who lost his home after his owner died just a few days before Christmas. He is currently in a kennel, so If you would like to help sponsor him for any amount you feel you can give, we would so appreciate it! Just go to our "Donate" tab on our web site. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
Stewart is about 10 years old and is around 26 pounds. Though Stewart is great with kids in his own family, he is shy around strangers until he gets to know them a little. He is very loving and loyal to his family and extended family, and he slept in his master's bed. He is great at both the vet and the groomer, and they adore him, as did his previous owner. Because of this nervousness with strangers, we feel it will be best if Stewart is placed in a home without children. Even though he really likes other doggies, he does hump them, which could be a problem with another doggie already in the family.
Stewart would love to be in a home with a fenced back yard and with someone who is retired or works from home and would have the time to spend loving him--someone who would not leave him all alone for a long work day. He loves taking walks and playing with his toys, and he rides beautifully in the car and walks well on leash, and he is housebroken. He will need to be groomed once every 4-6 weeks. Are you the one who will be lucky enough to pamper this little guy in his golden years? He is waiting for you to find him!
