Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Otto, and I’m here to steal your squeaky toys, your lap, and your heart! I’m a playful little guy, a touch rambunctious, but once I run outta steam I’m a champion snuggler. I love other dogs, though I’m probably a bit too much for cats (I’ve never met one but see the “playful and rambunctious” comments above). I’m crate trained – though I put up a fuss for the first few minutes just to make sure you REALLY meant to close me in. I settle down, though, and at night time I sleep quietly in my crate in my foster momma’s room. Sometimes I fuss and wake her if I need to potty, and sometimes I make it quietly through the night. And that brings me to the best part! I’m nearly perfectly potty trained! For a guy my age, that’s pretty amazing!! I prefer to do my stuff outside, and I’ll sit and paw at the door if I need to go out. Because I’m so little if you miss my signal sometimes I just CAN’T hold it, but if you keep an eye on me and give me regular potty breaks, I can be perfect!
Foster momma says I must mention that I’m a typical puppy – I steal socks, I chew on stuff, and I’m still working on learning not to mouth everything. I’ve got puppy energy and I need someone to show me how to be a good dog. But I’m EXTREMELY smart and I pick up on things fast! I know the sound of the ice machine (I love ice!). I know what it means when foster momma picks up a leash, and I run to the front door, ready for adventure. I know if she picks up a treat, my bottom should hit the floor so I can get a taste. I’m a super clever boy, and if you invest some time in training me I’ll WOW all your friends and family!
