My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elmira, NY: little Ronda Rousey came from a rural Mississippi shelter. She was about 10 weeks old when we got her and sadly she was found with her litter mates alone along the side of the road in rural Mississippi. The others made it to rescue but this girl was still in need. This one, when found had 2 BROKEN LEGS! I don’t know what “breed” she is but she is TINY& FIERCE and she is the most determined, unrelenting dog I have ever, ever met (close to another dog I know named Polly!😂) Meet Rhonda. I call her that because she is as tough as Rhonda Rousey the MMA fighter. We were told her back legs were already fused and growing back while
at the pound so we had our vet take x rays and examine her and her legs are healing wonderfully. At the worst, she may walk a little funny and her legs may not be straight but we will do whatever is best for her. ..She is really incredible and you would not know she ever had any pain. She is amazing. When ready, because of her sheer volume of (mountains of it...)determination she will require owners with dog experience for sure! We have already started house training and socialization and so far, so good but I will want adopters ready, willing and able to continue the work we have begun with this tiny and beautiful wonder.
Rhonda is currently in Elmira, NY and will be vetted and ready for adoption soon.
