My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eli is one of a kind in more ways than one. In some ways he’s your typical German Shepherd. In other ways he’s overcome great odds and obstacles without missing a beat!
Eli has several birth defects likely the result of backyard breeding. He is missing his hind right foot as well as three toes on his left hind foot. We have worked very hard to get Eli a prosthetic foot and he is with an amazing foster mom. Right now we are looking for the next step on Eli’s amazing journey someone who can work with this young German shepherd and wants to be this special pup’s EVERYTHING! He will likely need therapy to get use to the prosthetic and close contact with the rescue for a year or so to come. Serious inquires only.
