My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mario is approx 13 months and 16 lbs. He looks like he may have some tibetan spaniel in him. He's a sweet boy but will need some patience. He will do better in a home with other dogs that he can play with, he loves his playmates and follows them everywhere. He is very timid and scared and it took him a couple of weeks to settle in with his foster mom. He is nearly house trained but not perfect and will need some leash/harness training. He loves toys and treats

OUR RESCUE POLICY: We require a home with children older than 10 years old and experienced dog owners only.

The total adoption fee of between $525 and $650 depending on the quarantine laws of the adopter or foster's state (primarily Massachusetts) and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
