Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This adorable little chihuahua mix is approx 2 yrs old and just over 9 lbs.. We think he had been hit by a car and his back leg had to be repaired, luckily our orthopedic surgeon was able to fit a tiny plate on his leg and you would not know he had been injured! He is a sweet little boy, loves to sit on your lap and just snooze. He gets along with all of the other dogs, seems fairly well house trained and does well on a leash. He would make a great companion for someone. He does become very attached to his person and can be protective until he settles in.
OUR RESCUE POLICY: We require a home with children older than 10 years old and experienced dog owners only.
The total adoption fee of between $525 and $650 depending on the quarantine laws of the adopter or foster's state (primarily Massachusetts) and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. The application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
