My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar Ray is approx 4 yrs old and 27 lbs. We think he is a poodle/terrier mix. He loves to run and play and chase squirrels. He would like a nice backyard to run in. He loves toys and gets along with the other dogs. He seems to be pretty well house and leash trained. He had entropic surgery on both eyes and his head was shaved down so he is not the prettiest looking boy right now but his hair is growing back and he will soon be handsome again.

OUR RESCUE POLICY: We require a home with children older than 10 years old and experienced dog owners only.

The total adoption fee of between $525 and $650 depending on the quarantine laws of the adopter or foster's state (primarily Massachusetts) and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
