Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Little Bear! He is a 5-year old, 18 lb. black and white Corgi/pug blend. Little Bear’s life didn’t have such a great start. He was rescued from a hoarder who had over 60 dogs. Bear pretty much kept to himself just to survive. At 3R he has been learning all sorts of things including going for walks, rides in the car, and taking treats from humans. Bear gets his confidence form other dogs so having a home with a kind, out-going companions will be very important. He is fearful of some men but has learned to trust women and young adults.
His pastimes include going for walks, chewing on his bones, going for rides in the car or just hanging out with his human. Bear will meet you at the door with tail wags when you come in an patiently wait for his cookie.
Bear will do best in a quiet home with a family who has time and patience to work with him to build his confidence and trust. Then watch the little boy continue to blossom!
He is house-trained, has great house manners, sleeps through the night, gets along great with other dogs and cats.
When you look into Bear’s eyes, you will see what we all see – a kind loving boy who will give you tons of love for years to come. Please consider giving Bear the gift of a new family.
Bear is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on all shots. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org or phone 707-529-4643 or email: adopt@3rrescue.org.
