My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet and calm girl is Cocoa. She is a 10 year old Beagle who weighs 20 lbs. Cocoa was found rescued from the Moore animal shelter when her owner surrendered her as they were moving and couldn't take her with them.

Cocoa loves to loves belly rubs, comfy beds, and cuddling. She is pretty laid back and slow so she doesn't like to play much but just loves to be loved. Cocoa is good with other dogs. She is pretty laid back so imagine she'd be fine with kids and cats but we have not had her around any. Cocoa will defend her food from other dogs at meal time (what beagle wouldn't) but otherwise she has no issues with other dogs.

Cocoa would like a home where she gets to spend the rest of her life in comfort. Losing her owner was really hard on this old lady so we don't want her to have that happen to her again.

Cocoa is crate and leash trained. She does have accidents in her foster home. She was an indoor dog her whole life so was likely house trained but just still adjusting in her foster home. Therefore, you should expect accidents while she learns in her forever home too.

Cocoa is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $150.
