My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Callie a senior Chinese Crested mix. The vet was unable to give us an approximate age due to the fact she has no teeth.

Callie’s owner passed away and the family put Callie outside when they cleaned out the ladies house. Fortunately a neighbor saw this and contacted the Mineral Wells Shelter where we found her.

She has been in foster care and has been fully vetted. She is ready to find her forever home.

Callie gets along with other dogs and cats but would really like a home where there aren’t too many. Because she is an older small dog we recommend no small children. She is looking for a quiet home to spend the rest of her days where she will feel safe.

Her overall health is good. She has no teeth and a soft jaw but is able to eat and drink just fine. She does require a soft diet even though she will swallow small bites of dry kibble.

She is spayed, current on all vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention.
