Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet perfect Papi! He really is the perfect family dog!
Papi's story started off very sad - Rescue + Freedom Project saved him from an animal testing laboratory in Mexico where he had been released from a shelter to the facility for experimentation. Amazingly, Papi is courageous and trusting toward humans. He is currently being fostered in a home with a young child and three other dogs. He is great with all dogs, small, medium and large. He will sometimes get in the bath with their son. He is super gentle, friendly and loving all around!
Papi's ideal home would be with another playful, moderately active dog, and someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule. Papi LOVES to play with other dogs and toys, so he should be adopted to a family who has at least one other dog and or likes to be active. He is a 1-2 year old labrador pit bull terrier mix with a very gentle, loving soul. He is house trained, sleeps on a dog bed and understands basic commands.
To adopt Papi, please email us at adopt@rescuefreedomproject.org or fill an application out at https://rescuefreedomproject.org/rescue/.
Thank You!
