My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am about 11 years of age and recently lost my parents who had me since I was a puppy. My mom suffered a brain injury in a car accident a while back and my dad was my best buddy who took me for walks every day. Tragically, my dad took his own life in August and my mom was recently placed in a care facility. A neighbor took me and kept me in their garage and that is when I was rescued. So, here I am looking for a second chance. I am described as a happy-go-lucky and friendly guy who gets along with everybody. My left eye was removed because a resident cat scratched it. I think it gives me character though. I was kept primarily indoors and was paper-trained. However, Kimie discovered that I am fully potty-trained as long as she does not ignore my barking to be let out. I recently had surgery (30 teeth extracted and my remaining 5 cleaned, two small benign growths removed and was neutered). So, I will need to be on soft food for the rest of my life. I also have dry eye and need eye ointment every day. Other than that, I am low maintenance.
