Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hazel is a lovely little girl that was rescued from Brooklyn. She came right over to her rescuer, put her paws on her leg, and asked to be picked up. We searched for her owners but were unable to find them. She may have been recently dumped by someone that was unable to care for her any longer. Unfortunately not an uncommon occurrence during a down economy. We are just glad that we found her. Hazel is now safe and sound! This girl lead us to her kitten brood when we found her. She had safely hidden four beautiful bundles of fur. We grabbed them up also so that she could probably take care of them indoors. Life on the street is hard for a new mommy!
Hazel is being fostered in a home environment where she receives tons of love. Unfortunately her foster mom is unable to keep her permanently - she sure does wish that she could though! Hazel loves snuggle, cuddle, and romp around with her babies. Hazel is a happy and carefree little girl. She can be a ham at times, especially when she is seen playing with her little ones. She is always cracking us up with her silly cat ways. I have two children and Hazel does great with them.
Hazel is right around 1 year old (just a baby herself!) has been tested for FELV/FIV (negative/negative), vaccinated with her FVRCP and rabies vaccines, dewormed, spayed, and is flea free. She is extremely healthy. The veterinarian gave her an A+ check up! She was even good for the doctor which impressed us. Hazel eats premium wet and dry food.
