Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTION PENDING!!!
Ruffin, or just Ruff to his friends, is a small young Lab who had kind of a "ruff" start in life. He was taken to a local shelter to find a new home when his owners had too many dogs to care for. Ruff wasn't sure where he was or what to do when he first came to rescue. He was really scared, especially of teenage boys.
After just a few weeks, Ruff is SO happy!! He has blossomed into a sweet Lab who loves snuggles and playing ball. He took to his crate right away and has not had a single accident inside. He loves to play chase and rough house with his foster sister, Cynder. As much as he loves to play, he is very calm and well behaved inside. Ruff was introduced to the family cats and was way too interested in chasing them.
Ruffin is just under 1 year old. He is on the small side, at about 60 pounds. Ruff is very healthy, vaccinated, neutered and on heartworm prevention. Because he seems to have history with teenagers, we prefer to place Ruffin in a home without children.
If you live in the DFW area and are interested in adopting Ruffin, please see our web site and complete the adoption application. Ruff's adoption fee is $295. www.LoneStarLabRescue.org
