Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Once an unwanted surprise gift, these girls were brought to a shelter because the recipient, frankly did not want a puppy, let alone two. We gladly took these babies in and are all the better for it.
We are certain there is Yorkie in these girls but the other part is a mystery - they appear to be Corgi, or Dachshund. We're just not sure. Whatever their mix they are certainly sweet and gentle and will make any household all the more better if they are a part of it.
Xylie is the light colored and the more submissive of the two. She is all love and cuddles. She is great with other dogs and cats would show her her place. Any children in the home will preferably be older than five and very respectful of animals.
If you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting this love please read on or go directly to the adoption process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
