My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Maxx. I am about 1 years old and 18.4 lbs. I look like a mix between corgi and Pomeranian. I am currently being fostered in a home with several other small dogs. I get along great with them. I flew all the way from the Middle East to Houston, TX in December so I can start my journey to find my forever home! I have met some cats and can be a pest to them sometimes. I love to play with other dogs. I am working on house training and am kennel trained. I am a bit shy when it comes to meeting new people. I will just hang back and watch for a moment until my foster mom tells me everything is ok! I would do best in a home with another dog who likes to play. I am kenneled during the day while my mom works with a mid day potty break. I sleep in my kennel at night also without any separation anxiety!

**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.

Adoption fee is $350.
