My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cold nose, warm heart, furry toes! Hi, I’m Zari, a petite 1-year old girl with tons of personality and an endless capacity for love. I have a beautiful calico coat and twinkling green eyes. I was found as a stray in DC and was brought to a local rescue where I was adopted but returned due to allergies with my family. Once AWLMC came to visit, they could see immediately how sweet and loving I was and I was whisked away to a room at AWLMC to find my new home!

I’m a cuddle-bug by nature, and love being around people. I enjoy naps on top of or near humans and will come cozy up to you at night to make sure you are warm enough. When nap-time is over, I will join you and your friends for lively evenings as a lap warmer, or some play time chasing balls and toys, or jumping for strings. I do like cords and wires (they look like string!) so best to tuck those away so my little paws stay safe.

I’d make a warm, loving and cuddly companion to any household. This little girl is ready to go home!
