Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coal - Poodle - Male - 3 years - www.twyla.org
If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org
Coal is an adult Poodle who is about 16 lbs and this sweet boy was a tough one to catch. He was freezing at night until he ran into someone's backyard, and one of our wonderful volunteers rescued him. Coal is looking for an owner who doesn't mind cuddling on the couch while watching TV in the evenings. He likes car rides and a walk around the neighborhood. He is also happy hanging out in yard while you water the plants. His foster mom says that Coal doesn't trust new people at first but does settle down and will give them a chance once he warms up to them. Coals promises to be a faithful companion, he is the perfect size at 20 lbs., doesn't shed and is really smart. He hopes you can offer him a quiet home with or without other dogs filled with love, patience and guidance to help him become the best he can be. Coal is crate and house trained, neutered & up-to-date on all his shots.
Coal is looking for a quiet and dog experienced home with time and patience to help him become the dog we know he can be. He is currently working with a trainer and would do best if he could continue working with his Kingwood based tainer.
He strongly bonds with one person in the house, so a single person household may be ideal. As he is weary of strangers, he is not suited for apartment living.
***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
