My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This girl is all ears and all smiles (yes, she really smiles!) in anticipation of her furever home!! Penny was saved from a NC shelter a few months ago and has undergone heartworm treatment and is now ready to find her furever home!! She is playful and loves other dogs and people!  She is crate trained, housebroken and knows some basic obedience but would LOVE to continue learning more! Penny would make an excellent hiking buddy and would likely excel in obedience classes because she loves to please and is very smart! She is currently fostered with two human kiddos, 6 & 7yrs and does great with them. Penny is on an invisible fence at her foster home and does great! Once she burns off a bit of energy she is content to chew on a bone or snuggle up with her doggy pal. Penny is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines with an adoption fee of $300.
