My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heidi came to FloridaWild Rescue having been surrendered by the family of an elderly couple. She was an only animal in the family. The 'mom' died and the 'dad' was going to a nursing home. She was sad and slept a lot in the beginning.

Heidi is up and engaging with others now and is responsive to play toys and humans playing and petting her. She will talk to you.

Here's what Heidi has to say: "I'm ready now...ready for my final family and forever home. I love having my bed and carrier near me in my personal space. I really love human pets and to have someone play with me. I could use a workout since i need to lose some weight, but I'm really healthy. Ask the vets here for what I should eat.

So if you are looking for lots of love this Christmas, I'm your girl. I'm quiet but could get accustomed to running and climbing again.

They say I'm 'senior' but I don't look it and I sure don't feel it. Stop by and visit, let's see if we love each other."
