My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TWIX is a survivor. She was born in an area where cats were having DIFFICULTY surviving. A man was doing his best to help them by providing food and doing TNR for the adults.

When he brought TWIX to Fortunate Feline’s vet she was flea INFESTED and very ANEMIC. She received treatment and was on her way to being a healthy kitten in a foster home.

The next day the man went back to the area to get more of the kittens he had been feeding. They were nowhere to be found. Undoubtedly they had died from being anemic. SO SAD.

At least TWIX got treatment in time. She has been under veterinary care. Her right eye tears a lot because she has a cloudy scar on the cornea but her vision is not impaired.
Her spirit has continued to flourish.

update 3-30-19. It has been decided that Twix may have a herpes virus. This means that the virus may never be completely eradicated. If she is under stress, it could come back. She sometimes gets a runny eye. Her foster has found something that clears that up quickly.

Her spirit has continued to flourish.

It has also been found that, since other playmates have been adopted, she has become best buddies with Saffron.

We are hoping they will be adopted together.

She’s a beautiful plush, long hair dilute calico who now looks more like a tortie with very soft, thick fur.
undercoat, She's very laid back but still very playful. She likes to cuddle and purr in your ear.

She is living and can continue to live a full, rich life.

If you would like to have the privilege of sharing in her journey, call Kay: 313-891-2591.
