My story

“Charlie is very independent and is extremely timid at first. He likes to be the boss and is dominant but once he is comfortable with his surroundings he plays and runs like a bunny. He is not a cuddler but does like to hang out with humans. He doesn't mind other dogs or cats but slow intros are best.”

Charlie is one of 6 dogs brought to EPAR on 11/16/18 from a hoarding case. He is 5 years old, 10lbs., up to date on all of his vetting, and will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. He is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, also called a Chiweenie.

Charlie is crate and potty trained and gets along with other dogs and cats, but slow intros are recommended. He is very timid and still a bit scared of people until he warms up to them. He is a dominant dog and likes to be the boss. He is very independent and not a lap dog but likes to spend time with people once he is used to them.

Our adoption process includes verification of submitted information, in-person meet and greet with the animal and the applicant's other pets (if applicable), and mandatory home check.
