Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scout is a great dog, a wonderful companion and family pet. He is laid back, calm and quiet in the home but raring to go when he gets outside. He is overall your typical, smaller, Shepherd mix currently weighing 38 lbs. Scout is approximately 5 years old. He has had all of his vetting updated and is neutered.
Here is what Scout's foster family had to say about him:
Scout is an amazing companion that loves human affection. He is truly a great dog that gets excited when you come home (after being away for only a few minutes!) He is energetic and playful outdoors and calm and quiet indoors. Scout hasn't shown much interest in toys but prefers human interaction. He looks to be in good health, had some dandruff when we first got him but that has cleared up! He is high energy outdoors and low energy indoors.
He has been great with females. Males he will sometimes bark at but stops after a couple barks. It is usually when I am walking him alone. He has been good with children but has only met a couple. He is good with other dogs. There are no other dogs in the home but he wants to play with most dogs we meet on our walks. He was introduced to a family member's cats and was a bit timid but overall fine.
In the home Scout is very quiet and calm. He sleeps quite a bit and if he is awake he is cuddling or playing with us. He whines a bit when I leave but then settles right down until I return. He doesn't appear overall to have any anxieties or fears.
Scout he has great manners in the home. He knows some basic commands such as sit, come, and no. We used a crate for the first few nights but now he sleeps with us. He was fine in the crate but we felt it was too small for him and he is fine sleeping in bed. He is great on leash and enjoys going for walks. He is also great in the car.
Overall Scout is a fantastic dog and we love him! I think he is extremely happy with our home and situation. I bring him to the office most days and he is great, everyone loves him.
