My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

'BELLA' is an precious, sweet, submissive, fun, 1 to 2 yr old female Great Dane/Lab mix we rescued from a very high kill pound. Bella is gentle, silly & playful, but can be kind of a 'bull in a china shop' when excited. Bella loves the company of other like-personality dogs of equal or near equal size, and seems to favor submissive, playful males. Bella LOVES the water and a swimming pool ... she would spend all day in the water if you let her !! This darling girl would do best in a gentle, more quiet household, and could be a wonderful family dog with kids ... just not too young, robust & high energy or high volume. Bella is spayed, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, micro-chipped, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
