My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FAERIE is a strikingly gorgeous, 7 to 9 month old, small Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever mix female we rescued from a high kill shelter. Faerie is sweet, smart, loving, playful & FUN ! She LOVES to play with other dogs ... especially ones bigger than her (her best buddy is "Clark Kent"). This affectionate & silly girl is submissive, loving, sweet and eager to please. Faerie is not a large girl and will not be a large dog (presently about 35-40 lbs). With a bronze bridle coat and soft, loving eyes, she is simply STUNNING in person.
Faerie is a puppy so a family with no children under the age of 6 yrs old is preferred. Faerie has been de-wormed, had vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, micro-chipped, crate-trained and semi-house-trained. (Faerie is not yet spayed, as she is still possibly a little young, and since she had suffered neglect and malnutrition, we wanted to bolster her health and immune system prior to having her undergo surgery. Also research cautions against too early of spay/neuter and it's associated chronic health issues). This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescue dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
