Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Isn't she gorgeous??? Dove certainly is a fitting name for this gentle, peaceful 1 year old Great Pyrenees! Unwanted by her previous owners, we agreed to take in this beautiful girl. She's underweight at about 82 lbs; she should be at least 100 lbs. Despite having lived only outdoors before, Dove has adapted well to living indoors and has proven to be perfectly potty trained! She loves sleeping on her big orthopedic bed and, when not outside exploring the yard, can often be found lounging contentedly, gnawing on a bone. Dove pretty much ignores the 8 dogs in her foster home; we think she just hadn't been around canines before so doesn't know how to play with them. She's a people oriented girl who gives her paw when she wants attention .. in classic Pyrenees style! This gentle giant is great with kids, too! She could easily be an only dog but would also be fine in a house with a canine sibling. Dove will need at least a 5 foot fence in her new home; she's so tall that she could scale a shorter one with ease. Even though she's large, she's low key and easy to have in the house. Her adoption fee is $350; she's spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative.
