My story

Hazel is an incredible GSD who has overcome so many obstacles and is coming out to be a wonderful dog!

Hazel came to PEAR as an extreme abuse case and was terrified of everything. She is gaining confidence in training and is excelling beyond anyone's comprehension. She is learning trust, commands, how to be part of a family and has a lot of energy :) She will be a great companion for a home that is VERY active. Her favorite pastime in training is going for bike rides. Yes, you heard that right; she runs alongside her trainer getting her daily exercise.

Hazel will need an experienced owner who knows GSD's, their behaviors, activity levels and training needs; you will be required to maintain her training. Her new owner will also be required to attend a training session with the trainer to learn her commands. Hazel comes with lifetime support from her trainer. She will do best in a home with older children, ages 12 & up who understand her GSD nature.

**please note, if you don't have current or recent GSD ownership experience you won't be approved to adopt Hazel**

Your adoption fee includes 3 rounds of vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.
