My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rello is a 5-year-old son of Northern Afleet, winner of more than $600K on the racetrack. Rello's previous owner paid $10,000 for him at a Kentucky sale as a weanling. Rello does not have a real competitive spirit though, so he was never raced, never tattooed. He would be much better suited for someone interested in English Pleasure or dressage.

The pictures show him during his 10th ride under saddle. He is already learning to collect, and is a beautiful mover. He has about 60 days of training under saddle now. He has a very sweet temperament, and likes to pose for the camera! Rello will be suitable for an intermediate to advanced rider because of just being started under saddle. He is easy to catch, loves attention, ties, leads, loads, lunges, clips, and stands nicely for the farrier.

Rello had his teeth done in October by a Certified Equine Dentist, he is freshly shod, and is ready to continue his training. He will continue to stay in training until he is adopted.

Update 3/25/09: Rello has went on a trail ride by himself, and out with a group of horses. His trainer reports that he looks at everything on the trails, but does not spook or bolt. She reports that he is very level headed and sensible about new things.

Update 5/1/09: Rello is cantering under saddle consistently now. He takes his right leads easily, but left leads are more difficult for him.
