Cuteness overload alert! Meet the adorable and handsome Gideon. Born 5/15/2018 he is 9 months old and almost full grown. Gideon is one of 8 pups born in his foster home after his very pregnant mama was rescued. (Mama Pixie pictured in last photo). Mama is a Jack Russell Terrier mix and dad is most likely a dachshund as he looks a lot like a dachshund.. He is a very gentle and affectionate boy but will take time to warm up to you. He just loves to snuggle and give kisses. He is fun loving and affectionate. He is also very playful and entertaining! Gideon will need an adult only and a family that is home frequently. Gideon is afraid of men so an all-female home would be best, though they love the man in the foster home. Gideon was adopted at younger age, but did not mesh with the family and was returned nervous. He will need a gentle and patient adopter that will spend the time to gain his trust. He really loves to play and will be all yours as soon as he trusts you. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.
2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)
a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.
b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.
c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
